But then again...maybe she knows we will think she's just trying to
confuse us and thus we won't believe it (R/H) will happen, just so
that it *will* happen, and we will still be surprised...oh why do we
even try to interpret what she says? She is the master (mistress?)
of surprise. It's all getting too confusing. It's reached the point
where R/H and H/H are *both* the "obvious" coupling - depending on
who you talk to. (The media is quick to jump on H/H, but I guess it's
the whole Hero/Female Friend dynamic...the fandom seems evenly
split) So if JKR doesn't do the obvious...well, does that mean
Hermione will wind up with neither?

Helen (me): Oh lordy... if anything, OotP proved that the books are
soooo NOT about the shipping. I (a rabid H/Hr shipper) think both R/Hr
and H/Hr are doomed. DOOMED. There will be some more 'stuff' for both
sides to pick apart. There certainly was here. There were moments for
both... and gosh, I think I will stop listening to anything JKR has to
say and just read the books. She can be very misleading. I am thinking
more and more it will be HERMIONE who will die in the end. She wasn't
healed like everyone else at the end of OotP. She was still having to
take potions for her injuries. I believe it is serious, and she will die
at the end. Of course, I think Dumbledore is really aold!Ron, so, ha!
That is where I think the shipping arc is going. No where. Harry... I
would love for him to find love. My heart is still with H/Hr... but
something tells me none of the ships are going make it.
