But perhaps the reason only people about whom the prophesy concerns
can retrieve it is due, not to the nature of the prophesy itelf, but
the way it was stored by Dumbledore or the Department of Mysteries.
What I mean is, Trelawny made the prophesy but someone must have
recorded it into the sphere. The sphere might then be charmed so
that only those involved in the prophesy can get it. If this is the
case, then it may well have been charmed such that only Harry could
get it because whoever set up the security _assumed_ it was about
Harry. It is, afterall, Harry's name that appears on the label,
albeit with a question mark.

This is clearly pure speculation.

The question still remains why the DE's couldn't just have broken the
shelves like the kids did!
