I actually agree that it was predictable, after beginning to read 
OoP, that Sirius was the one to die.  He was being quite reckless 
throughout the book; however, I was fooled by the various red 
herrings along the way.  In the back of my brain however, I think 
that signs were pointing to Sirius.
