Now me:

Hermione has trouble under pressure, and she knows it.  Remember her 
quote to Harry in PS/SS about the difference between book knowledge 
and "important things" (sure wish I had my book handy).

1.  PS/SS when they landed on the Devil's Snare plant
2.  The troll in the girl's bathroom.
3.  "Expecto Patronum" (granted - her first attempt - might be a bit 
harsh)

Don't get me wrong, though.  I love Hermione, and I think she is a 
key to the success of the trio.  She acts almost as if she is older 
than the other 2...

Hmmm - nah, I won't go there.
