Steve Vander Ark :
I am delighted that so many British-isms have been left in the US edition.
[Anita Hillin] I, too, am thrilled that very little appears to have been
changed. HP geek that I am, I ordered the UK edition as well as the US, and
I will be receiving my UK copy in the next week. I'll be able to make a
direct comparison! Perhaps we can give some credit to the movies, where
lines like "jumper" and "nutters" were left intact, allowing Scholastic to
presume their primary audience would now understand.
