now Me:

Whether or not Harry will die at the end of the series, and I agree
that it is a real possibility, I really do not agree with the above
characterization.

Harry has _nothing_ to live for with Sirius gone? If so, what did
he have to live for before he met Sirius.? Yes Harry is grieving.
Yes he has a long road to travel before he really learns to turn to
others for help (and I don't just mean with heroic challenges, but
with his grief)

However, as DD points out in his wrap-up speech, Harry cares
very deeply about those around him. And it may take time, but he
can learn to understand that people care as much about him.

As Harry stands now he has Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore,
Hagrid, Lupin, Neville, Ginny, Luna, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Fred,
George, Bill, Charlie, Moody, Tonks, and McGonagal who
obviously care about him. He doesn't need to die to be with
people who love him.
