Yeah, remember the leg-locker curse in PS/SS?  What I
remember most about it is all the Gryffindors
laughing.  Hermione is the only one that didn't.

This connection only strengthens the redeemed!Draco argument: James shaped up by 7th year, and while Draco shows no signs now, there could always be the possibility (in my twisted mind anyway). Even if he turns "good," he'll most likely still hate Harry & pals; I can see Draco "turing good" for personal gain, not for any moral reasons. Some have argued that he's too big of a git to ever be good, but keep in mind this whole story is from Harry's POV, vilifying the Slytherins (Pansy "shrieks" with laughter, Draco's tone of voice is always "snide"). He IS mean and horrible to Harry - we just only see that ONE side of him, as he's a relatively undeveloped character (less so than his father even...)

sorry for rambling - my mind can't function normally at 4:30 am with 300+ more emails to read (agh!)
