Personally, I think that is the whole reason for the discussion with 
McGon. about the requirements for Auror. Otherwise I think Harry 
would definately have skipped out of higher level Potions. He has to 
stay in the class or his exposure to Snape will be limited and I 
think their relationship is going to be crucial. I'm not sure how 
he's going to get into the NEWT class except maybe he will surprise 
us all and get an O on his OWL- he did say he thought he did well, 
and most of his problems with Potions were caused by Snape. As for 
Snape not letting him in, maybe he will feel guilty for Sirius' loss. 
He may hate Harry and Sirius, but I refuse to believe that he is 
actually evil, Dumbledore trusts him and like Hermoine that's enough 
for me. Perhaps this guilt starts to breakdown the wall between the 
two. I won't go so far as saying Snape becomes a father figure, but 
there is going to be something important with their relationship.
