I don't see that happening, but after re-reading the Sorting Hat's
song, I've been thinking that come book 7, there will be no more
Houses at all. I felt the Sorting Hat was warning Hogwarts about the
dangers of separating people into categories (brave, smart, loyal,
cunning) instead of people either be separating randomly or not
separating people at all. The Hat reminded Hogwarts about how the
four founders started out as friends but their differences caused a
rift. If the Sorting Hat suddenly fessed up and said "Surprise!
You're all in the wrong Houses!", that wouldn't quite fit with his
warning in the Song.
Along with all the big bad things that are coming in the next two
books, I can also see some big changes in the WW. A Hogwarts without
Houses could be one of them. In fact, the more I think about it, the
more I see the merits of it.
