Me:
Harry told Lupin and Black what he saw and they did not say anything like 
"But it didn't happen like that!". The immidiatly started making excuses, 
and I would tend to think that if they had a reason for what they did, or if 
it had not been _that_ bad, they would have said so. But no. The first 
excuse out of Blacks mouth is "He was only fifteen".
