 Me (Debbie) again:
Interesting about Lucius' already known money, power, influence -
what does Voldy have that Lucius could want? Well, Lucius does have
influence, but that's different than complete power. As being the
second-in-command, he'd be able to do things he could only try to get
others to do before ("Gee Fudge, I think it would be great if you
could kill that stupid Muggle-loving bill by Weasley" -didn't work).
And as Sirius mentioned before, once you're in, you can't get out.
But, as you say, I wonder if it's something really big?? Ohh...
shivers. Maybe rule over the UK while Voldy rules over the rest of
Europe? That could be plausible.

As for Narcissa, I don't think she's really the sweet girl people
make her out to be. Seems this book affirmed she's as bad as Lucius.
Yes, she sends cookies to Draco (or at least, used to), but I have
always felt this was not out of love for Draco but trying to be
useful in an evil way. Useful to get others to group with Draco so he
can play leader and perhaps have the cookies sprinkled with spells
and hexes to keep the new generation evil? I think there's more to
the cookies than meets the eye.
