That's uncanonical. On the other hand, we have McGonagall saying that
"All Neville needs is confidence". And indeed, he improves tremendously
after joining DA and isn't as preasured.

I doubt it. Ron got a wand suited for him in PoA and his powers did not
sky rocket. And considering Harry probably has the powers of Voldemort
in addition to his own, I doubt Neville will be able to surpass him.
And of course, metathinking tells us that, since the books are called
"Harry Potter and... " that it is unprobable that the hero will be
surpased.

Unfortunately, this is uncanonical too. The priori incantatem effect
was due to the fact that the cores of both wands came from the same
animal, Fawkes the phoenix, and we know that Fawkes only gave two
feathers for wand making (PS).
