I think this is spot on.  Much as I hate to say it, cos I'm *very* fond
of Harry, I think he will have to sacrifice himself to vanquish LV.  

I'm thinking it's going to be along the lines of Buffy Season 5 where
she dies to save the world - only *her* blood will save the world....I'm
seeing similarities with the whole blood theme in the HP books too - LV
now has some of Harry's blood, they have this connection between them,
etc.  I think it will end up with some very similar scenario where only
Harry can make the necessary sacrifice to destroy LV.

Sniff!!  Hope I'm wrong!!  Much rather he became MoM and had 12 kiddies
with Ginny!
