To anyone on the list who has not finished the book DO NOT READ!!!!

Spoiler

I believe this has not been brought up before, in the last few days
since OOP came out, if it has and I missed it sorry.

I feel the death of Sirius will effect Harry badly maybe more than
losing his parents, and feel extremely band fo him, because it will
also possibly make him feel more alone, and not understood. I know
Harry misses his parents very badly, but was not able to get to know
them very well. Sirius was Harry's main connection he had with his
parents and especially his dad. I know he had Lupin there also, but
Sirius I felt was slightly closer to James. It shows in the book when
Harry isn't feeling to impressed about his fathers actions, was able
to turn the Sirius and ask what the story was behind the memory in the
Pensive. Which I understood made Harry feel a little better about the
situation.

The reason I feel Harry may feel more misunderstood, is that when
Harry first got to Sirius's mothers house, and expressed his anger
about being left out, or behind. Sirius appeared to be the only person
whom could sympathize with him and vice versa. Also Sirius was the one
person whom Harry felt, he could trust, and be willing to do as Sirius
told him wither or not Harry agreed as shown in this and the previous
book. Now that Sirius is gone, won't have an adult "friend/family"
image to look up to for advise, or to answer questions and get answers
from.

This is just my view as to what Harry may have been and possibly will
be going throughout the rest of the series. I was also quite upset and
taken back when he was killed.

Cheers,
Liz
