Ginny breaks with Michael Corner because he reacts so badly to 
Ravenclaw's defeat at Gryffindor's hands.  Yet the Ravenclaw and 
Hufflepuff students were willing to study defense taught by Harry, a 
Gryffindor.

Quidditch has resulted in  falls, fights, and general bad feeling.

Maybe it's a bad idea at a time when Dumbledore wants to promote 
school unity?
