Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?  James was a 
bully (in fifth year) regardless of Snape.  He "hexed anyone who 
annoyed him and "hexed people for fun."  Lots of people, not just 
Snape.  Later, he grew up and became a hero.

I didn't say Snape wasn't a bigot.  I said he turned spy and risked 
his life.  That's simple fact. I don't see what Sanpe being a bigot 
has to do with anything.  I thought we were discussing James.  Snape 
isn't the issue.  I mentioned Snape mostly to compliment James.  I 
think James let go of his hatred.  It's a very mature and adult 
thing to do.  He did better than either Snape or Sirius in that.

My argumement was simple.  People remember the man James became more 
than the boy he was.
