I HAVE to ask this:
To those of you who have repeatedly said that this was "just a
prank", "normal" and "all 15 yos are like that":

DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN?

Let me tell you something.
I have a 13 year old son. If I even SUSPECTED he was THINKING
anything along these lines he wouldn't be thinking it long, I can
assure you of THAT.

The behaviour was disgusting. Yes, teenagers are obnoxious. Annoying.
No one likes being around them except, possibly, other teenagers. But
not ALL teenagers are CRUEL and VINDICTIVE.

And if I might add...upon 2nd reading...McGonnagall's comment after
the Quidditch brawl to Harry and whichever twin it was-- that she had
*never seen such a disgusting display* pointing out specifically that
it was *Two against one* and even giving them the benefit of the
doubt that Draco HAD insulted them--that made me feel even more ill.
How many other HW students have/are/will suffer humilation like that
while authorities blunder on unawares?
