Rhea Writes;
>>My mouth dropped open when I read about Harry using one of the Unforgivable
Curses. At that moment, I guess Harry didn't care about the implications any
longer. On the other hand, I don't think Harry's Cruciatus Curse would cause a
lot of pain, since more high level curses (I regard the Unforgivables as
difficult magic) require more powerful wizards to perform them effectively.<<

Well, it caused enough pain for her to yelp and stop laughing at him for a
bit. It was the *worst* thing he could think of to do to her. (I don't think he
either wanted to, or was confident in being able to cast a sucessful AK.) But
however much he might have wanted her to hurt, he wasn't doing it the way it
"needed" to be done -- which she took some satisfaction in taunting him with.
About the difference between someone who gives a kid a resounding smack and the
one who holds the kid's hand against the stovetop.
