I think there is still somethings to come in regards to Harry and 
Neville, but I don't think just because Harry was attacked by Big V 
and Neville wasn't that we can assume it was anything special that 
Harry had and Neville didn't.

Voldemort may have just said "I'll duck past godricks hollow and 
finish off the Potter kid on my way to the Longbottoms"
Just because he never got to Neville, doesn't mean that he wasn't 
going to... maybe he just never got the chance.
