I don't know it this will post or not....

Interesting theory, but I don't quite buy it.  I don't think Lily and 
James will come back, no matter what circumstances.

I know that your theory falls apart with the fact that it was Harry, 
and not his parents, that caused LV to try to kill him.  However, I 
think there may be another prophecy that LV and no one else knew 
about, b/c I don't think LV chose Harry over Neville at random.  I 
think that LV knew something else, making him want to go straight to 
the Potter's.  Maybe that second prophecy had to do with the Heir of 
Gryffindor.

As for priori Incantatum, I know this is a much debated subject, but 
James and Lily climbed out of the wand.  For that reason, I believe 
them to be dead.

But.....Neville may have some secret too.  You have a point about his 
clumsiness being similar to loosing memories....
