Ooh, me too, me too! ::waves hand wildly:: Bellatrix is evil.
Voldemort is evil. Fudge -- to a certain extent -- was being evil.
Percy? No. I think "evil" is pushing the envelope just a bit.

The thought of spy has crossed my mind. Several times in the last 96
hours, in fact. Percy just seemed too *different* from the last four
books than in this one for me to be comfortable with him just siding
with the ministry. I mean, Percy's always been a rule follower with
the tendency to be a bit pompous, but in this book he came across
almost as a caricature of his former self -- less business, more
pomp, if that makes any sense at all.

I agree that he wouldn't be able to fake it though -- possibly the
only people who would know were Dumbledore and himself. A bit like
NOCs, if anyone else has seen "The Recruit" (otherwise being neither
here nor there). Arthur and Molly would have to believe it as well.
And I think that would hurt Percy (because everyone was hurt here,
not just the greater Weasley family) even more. :(

Ah well, we know JKR. Nothing by halves, eh?

I think there are people like me standing behind you on this one. :)
It's not denial, it's "selective acceptance"...

And, I saw someone referring to the rules of a HP Sleuth -- best and
worst $25 bucks I ever spent. :D Helped me spot patterns in this book
(i.e. I noticed that she kept mentioning Bode -- I never would have
caught on to that when I read the first four), and other things. I
also loved the rules. I never should have read that "Restricted Area"
before finishing OotP, though.

Still wondering where Penny went. ::pout::
