It's called Slytherin House.

It's called Slytherin House.
My reply:
I'm nervous about calling the Slytherin House Future Death Eaters. Although it seems that way at times do we actually know what their feelings on Voldemort are. As far as I know we see Crabbe, Malfoy and Goyle all wince at the sound of his name. So do they still fear Voldemort?
I personally believe their hatred of Harry stems more from the fact that he exposed their fathers, and not loyalty to the Dark Lord. Perhaps I"m just crazy.

This assumes AD was being serious, which I would doubt.
-My Reply:
I agree he was just being silly about his brother, you know kind of sibling rivalary sort of thing. This is one aspect of Dumbledore that I absolutely love is his sarcasm. It is really refreshing to see a character like him still maintain his sense of humor. Even in turbulent times like the Wizarding world is in.

Ok...In GoF Sirius says Snape "was part of a gang of Slytherins who all
turned out to be death eaters". However, in OOP we see Snape quite alone.
My reply:
That is a really interesting insight into Snape, cassie. IT sort of makes me think he has a lot in common with Peter Pettigrew. Also I think he is possibly the Peter Pettigrew for the good side if that makes sense. He betrayed his friends to join along side Albus Dumbledore instead of choosing to be with Voldemort. Just a thought.

First the password to the Gryffindor common room happens to be
Mimbulus Mimbletonia for some unfathomable reason...but then the next
we hear of the plant is on the train ride away from Hogwarts. (Or did
I miss an instance in there?) What is the point of this rare yet ugly
plant? Or is this one of those threads that was faintly touched upon
in book 5 but will become more important in the final two books?
My reply:
When I first heard that it was the password I thought maybe they chose that as the password so that this time Neville would actually stand a chance at remembering it. :)
