Arabella Figg and Petunia Dursley

Arabella Figg's announcement that she is actually a squib made me 
think...  What if Lilly wasn't a witch born to muggle parents?!?  
What if Petunia is also a squib!  

That would go a long way to explain her hatred of all things magical 
and her apparent knowledge of the ways of the wizarding world... 
remember, she seemed to understand the implications of V-Voldemort's 
return and also to know what dementors are!

Just a thought.

Also, want to express my shock at Mrs Figg's lack of magical ability -
 who saw that one coming?!?
