It really depends on how you look at it--if it simply means seeing 
(as with one's eyes) then yes, this becomes a huge flint (or if you 
want to really off on it, maybe Harry's mom didn't die).  Or it could 
mean seen as more towards experienced death.  Harry was a baby at the 
time and the only reason he can remember it at all was because of the 
dementor flash backs.  Cedric's death he really experienced, it 
weights on him daily, it's as clear as all his other memories.
