Hey everyone -
Of course, I must always preface my comments with an apology
beforehand in case I am repeating someone else's posted ideas. I
really, really hope this hasn't been discussed yet.
In chapter 1, Harry and Vernon have a struggle - can you believe it?
This time, though, here's what happens: "Uncle Vernon yelped and
released Harry as though he had received an electric shock - some
invisible force seemed to have surged through his nephew, making him
impossible to hold."
Whoa - what is *that* all about? Now, we all know why Harry needs to
stay with Dursleys and that Voldemort cannot get to him while he calls
Petunia's home his home. Does this also mean that no one can
physically harm Harry while he is there? Or are his wandless magical
abilities growing even more? SS gave us several examples of Harry
clearly using magic before he ever knew he was a wizard and in PoA
Harry blew up Aunt Marge simply using his anger (there are people who
say Petunia really did that, though). Is that what has happened here?
Or is something else going on?
