Yes, good point, thanks Sirius Sam. (nice name, by the way). 

Though I don't agree that we won't see more of Sirius' life unfold 
in future books. I think that we will, though not arbitrarily - it 
will be tied tightly to the unfolding plot, IMHO. There are plenty 
of ways we could learn more about Sirius - flashbacks, pensieve 
scenes, etc, and I think he is too integral and multi-layered a 
character for JKR to remove him from the plot just because he's 
dead - Harry's parents are dead and yet we learn more about them 
with each book, after all. And he's still a very enigmatic 
character, about whom we know very little, ie ripe for further 
development. So I'm holding out for future glimpses of Sirius, 
though perhaps I'll put the Sirius marriage theory on the back 
burner for now ;-).

Sueeyqbong (finding it very hard to let go, still, and it's been 6 
days...)
