Me: true Snape is not a DE, but he is still unjust to Harry. Snape
reacts to Harry like he is James... I think he has Siris' problem when
he looks at Harry. They both give Harry, his fathers Baggage... ie:
act like Harry is James all over.

Me: What truth? That Harry's father was a better wizard at 15 than
Snape? That James was a typical teenage boy acting like a jerk. (I
could tell you stories about my 4 brothers and there best friends that
make this sound like a tea party.. and they are still friends.. and
they are in their late 40's) IMHO, Snape is not a good guy. AND he
is no longer an EVIL guy. He saw the error of his ways. But Snape
still has not come to terms with the FACTS: 1. James is dead. 2.
Harry is NOT James 3. If you don't want your students to hate you,
don't treat them as if they are pond scum.

Me: James' noble nature appears to have been absent in this memory of
Snapes. But, I don't know too many NOBLE 15 year olds, who haven't
suffered to acheive said status. Actually I never heard of James
being noble, all I have read about him, is he sneaks out of his school
house at nite. He helped create a magical map, and he got into
scrapes all the time.. oh and he was a good athlete. Most boys who are
really good athletes at an early age... are spoiled. They either come
out of it or, they get worse. (side note: did anyone notice that
James was writing Lily's initals on this OWLS test when he was
done?.... seems he always liked Lily). But, at to Black and Lupin's
opinion being of little value, why? They remembered the story from
there point of view. That Snape (always attracted to the dark arts)
and Black who grew up in a house chocked FULL of dark magic, and
hating it, it is only obvious that he would HATE Snape. And James who
while not being a great defender of muggles, NEVER was attracted to
the dark magic. So James is not gonna like Snape too much either. Add
James being a stronger wizard than Snape; Well ya are gonna have a
nasty memory like this stuffed somewhere in the back of your head.
But, Snape, doesn't put it there he puts it in a bowl and dwells on it
for the rest of his life.

I think Snape is petty and needs to grow into a better teacher.
"Cause teachers have a great deal of power over students. They can
destroy them, or they can help them grow. I don't see Snape helping
any students but, Malfoy, and his gang. But, maybe I'm wrong.... What
do ya think?
