Hermione hasn't done a lot of developing. True, she *has* loosened up
a tad, but that isn't much developing. But looking at it in
retrospect, how can you make Hermione develop without messing up her
personility and hobbies?

Actually I think hermoine has developed quite a lot really. She still
knows everything and every story needs a good brain BUT she is also
very clever and quick thinking which was not fully developed in the
previous books. How smart was luring the umbridge poor excuse for a
person into the forest to let the centaurs deal with her? Unless its
just me, but when I was reading that scene, I was thinking that there
was no way out for them, and then she comes up with that. Another
classic.
