I've always believed Snape to be on the good side... but throughout
all these messages (there's no way I'm going to find which ones
anymore), so many reasons are named for which Voldemort should
distrust Snape (a.o. his interaction with Quirrel and thus Voldie in
PS/SS, the mention of Snape's spying in Karkaroff's trial in GoF,
Snape's training Harry at Occlumency while Voldemort can penetrate
Harry's mind...), that I'm sad to say I'm becoming suspicious of him.
Why does Lucius (at least) still trust him? Lucius is hardly an
idiot. (Doesn't seem to be, anyway.) So I'm wondering (like so many
others) what precisely Snape could have done to convince him he's
still on Voldie's side. Has he really been on Voldie's side all
along...?
Of course, otoh, Snape would probably have to give the Order a reason
why Lucius trusts him, too...
Cheerful greetings,
Rane,
getting more confused by the minute and dreading what we'll find out
about Snape.
