I don't know.. I took this in a more philosophical sense rather than a
literal one. For instance:

1) Voldemort can't grow to full power or continue his world domination
plan while Harry Potter is alive.. So even now that he has assumed a
new, corporeal form, he will continue to be consumed by the Harry Potter
question, and unable to continue on his path of mayhem until Harry's
been put down.

2) Like Voldemort, Harry cannot be anything other than a foil until
Voldemort has been vanquished. It is only then that he would be free to
be himself, rather than a consequence of the Dark Lord. So far, his
entire existence has been defined by Voldemort.. his scar, his life with
the Dursley's, his fame, his yearly Voldemort face-down, the loss of his
family and godfather.. Who is Harry Potter without Voldemort? Can one be
truly alive if one's entire existence is a reaction to the existence of
another person?

Just my two knuts. =)
