I don't think he can 'read' Harrys mind either...


Voldemort is already present when Harry is telling Bellatrix that the 
prophacy has been destroyed.  I think that Bellatrix realized that 
Voldemort was there before Harry did.

During the scene there are mentions of how much Harry's scar is 
hurting and then just after Bellatrix begs 'her master' not to hurt 
her:

"'Don't waste your breath!' yelled Harry, his eyes screwed up against 
the pain in his scar, now more terrible than ever. 'He can't hear you 
from here!'

'Can't I Potter?' said a high cold voice."

I think it's quite clear that the only reason Voldemort knows that 
the prophacy got broken is because he heard Harry say so.
