Me:

My feeling is that JKR is preparing us for an ending that we may not
necessarily like. She has repeatedly hinted in interviews lately
that Harry may not survive till the end. While I find this idea
disturbing and not at all appealing, I have to give it some merit.
What Harry wants most in life is to have his family back. OOP
establishes that Life goes on after death, al la the veil. Harry
hears the voices and is drawn to them. Behind that veil are his
mother, father, and Sirius... all the people whom he considers
parents. His extended family is also there waiting for him.
Another thing that really bugs me is the chilling ending when LV
enters Harry body. Harry begs, "Kill us." Not kill me, but kill
US. Did anyone else find this unsettling? Is she setting us up for
a heroic ending where Harry sacrifices himself to save everybody
else? The sick feeling in the pit of my stomach tells me that it is
a good possibility.
