Well - no, actually.  I don't live to die.  I live to live.  I want to 
enjoy my life and not think about dying or losing people I love to 
Death.  I want to keep life going by having a baby, and maybe another 
baby after that.  

Harry deserves these things too.  He should be able to defeat 
Voldemort, savor the victory and then go to the Caribbean for a two 
week vacation.  He should be able to take his time dating, settle on 
Ginny when they are both in their late twenties (sorry, couldn't 
resist) and have beautiful kids who will also go to Hogwarts and grow 
up to be great witches and wizards.  His Death wouldn't finalize the 
series for me, it would kill the series.  

If Harry dies, I'll think that JKR is warning us that Evil triumphs, 
and even though in life that is true sometimes, I want to feel 
satisfied through literature that Evil never never wins.
