Well, if Tonks qualified as an Auror 1 year ago, and it takes three 
years of Auror training, then she was taken on into Auror training 4 
years ago. She would have to be extremely dense to lie about her 
Auror status as those facts would be easily verified by the other 
Aurors in the Order.
