OoP again it hit me. Squibs do have a gift, even if they can't do any
magic.nbsp; They can talk to cats.nbsp; Granted not the most fantastic gift, but a gift none the less.nbsp; I always wondered why a squib wouldn't be a muggle apart from the fact they were born to wizards, they can't do magic at all. Muggle:none magical folk = someone who can't do magic? Anyway anyone have any thoughts about this??? Or am I way off base???? Thanks for reading. (I apologize if this has already been discussed)>>>>>>

Whoa! I'm with you about Squibs being able to talk to cats! All of the clues that were in the books; Mrs Figg and her cats, and Mrs. Norris and Filch. But I doubt that they would be able to hear what a cat is saying. Squibs might be able to *understand* the cats enough to make it look like they are talking with the cats. I wish that we could get Mrs. Norris together with Mrs. Figg to test this theory. Not Cookshanks though, he's half Kneazle.
