So because Percy had a falling out with his parents and said some
nasty things in anger, he might decide to join a group of witches and
wizards who actively torture and murder? Can't say I see that. I
have a very hard time seeing Percy with the Dark Mark on his arm,
calling Voldemort the Dark Lord and using Crucio on people who don't
agree with him. Not even Percy has that much hatred in him. All he
wants is to be the very best Minister of Magic the WW has ever seen,
not rid the world of Muggles and Mudbloods. Turning his back on his
family was a selfish and stupid thing to do, but it doesn't make him
an evil person.
Unless Percy is tricked (which is possible), I just don't think this
DE will happen with him. Haven't we all argued here that one can be
an asshole without being truly evil? Can't Percy just be one of those
assholes? Personally, I think he'd do a fantastic job at the NYC Dept
of Education, where bureaucracy has reached new heights of horror.
