That's a good question - one I have wondered about for a while.

Now, obviously some students go to standard primary schools. The ones who are muggle-born, and possibly some half-bloods. As for the others - I've always pretty much assumed that there were wizarding primary schools. Others still are probably home-schooled.

Even wizards need to learn English.
