Absolutely!  I thought it was wonderful.  What a great way to say so 
much to the self-styled Lord!  By calling him Tom, Dumbledore 
reminded him that underneath all those changes, experiments and 
horrible things he's done to himself trying to purge the 
mortal/muggle out of himself, he's still just Tom Riddle.  
Dumbledore puts him in his place.  At the end of the day -- despite 
how much LV's tried to escape who he is, despite how many people 
he's fooled, despite how many people he's killed -- he's still just 
Tom Riddle, orphaned bastard son of a muggle.

Personally, I think LV hates it that Dumbledore knows who he is and 
reminds him of it.
