I don't know.  I keep coming back to book one - Quirrell had to know that
Snape was working for the side of the good - Dumbledore specifically - in
trying to stop him from getting the stone or thwart efforts to protect the
stone.  In that case, wouldn't LV also know this??  That has been bothering
me since the very beginning.  Also, I'd love to know who LV was talking
about in book four at the circle of death eaters when he said someone had
left them forever...  Thoughts?
