Yes, I agree - BUT - he has to be that way otherwise Malfoy (Draco) would go
running to daddy to say that Snape is in the Harry Potter fan club - that
wouldn't bode well.  Part of the beauty of Snape working on the side of the
good is that he can intermingle so well on the side of the bad.  Everyone at
Hogwarts, besides Order members, would NEVER suspect that Snape would want
to save Harry, help Harry...
