I think this is one of the things that annoys me most
about Hermione in this book. I mean she refuses to
believe that house elves don't want to be free. Dobby
did but Dobby is definately unique. I do have visions
of a mob of angry house elves attacking Hermione at
some point. She really doesn't *get* it. I mean I do
understand that she wants them to be happy by being
free but if they don't want to be free then freedom
isn't something you can force on someone. But we have
seen that house elves once free can attack anyone they
want to so things don't look good for Hermione.

Maidlyn who is not sure she would want a house elf who
knew all of the family secrets.
