If they didn't know, they at least knew that what was being kept in the DoM 
was *very* important. I think that those six (three Weasleys, yes?), 
Dumbledore (obviously), and maybe Mad-Eye knew what the "weapon" was, and 
what it would mean if Voldemort got his hands on it. Other Order members who 
work for the ministry (Kingsley, Tonks) would know what the aforementioned 
eight at the very least, or even less -- the less information that the Death 
Eaters could get out of people if caught, the better, I think would be the 
case.
