I have a question, when reading the books I never noted any passages 
about Frogspawn at all. In particular where are the ones related to 
Lily?

Funny you should mention it that is precisely what I think. Ginny is 
a wildcat! and I am sure at some stage it will be revealed that she 
feels some compulsion to become Animagii.
