TBAY/OoP: Ashes to Ashes

A lone figure wanders around the cannon museum.  She is dressed all 
in black except for the RASPBERRY ribbons tied around the two 
meatball-style buns in her hair.  On her arm is her trademark basket 
full of rootbeer and notepaper.  She traded in all the Rookwood 
thongs she collected on the beach to Kristini for a SILK SHIRT (black 
of course).

She wanders around the museum, muttering to herself, "No, it just 
can't be...Gotta be something here..."

Suddenly, an imposing figure wearing a captains hat comes rushing in 
to the hall.

"SERENA!" yells Captain Cindy, "How could you!"

"I can't believe their gone!" sobs Serena.

Captain Cindy, not expecting this response, stops, "What?  Who's 
gone?"

"P.I.N.E and F.I.E!" sobs Serena, "You were at the funerals, didn't 
you see me there!  I can't believe their gone!"

"It will be ok," Captain Cindy says gently, "After all, you're the 
girl with a million theories.  You'll come up with some more."

"It's not that," Serena sniffles, "I really liked those theories.  
But Fudge isn't evil, just ever so shallow.  And I can't help 
thinking we buried P.I.N.E too soon.  After all Percy writes that 
letter to Ron, would he do that if he were evil?  I mean he was just 
showing brotherly concern.  It seems more likely that Percy's just a 
little misguided."

"Well..." Captain Cindy begins.

"And so he had a fight with his family," Serena cuts her 
off, "Everyone has fights with their families.  Harry spends half the 
book yelling at everyone and no one accuses Harry of being Evil!"

Serena stops.  An odd expresion comes over her face, "Ya, know just 
maybe..."

"Stop right there!" yells Cindy, remembering why she chased Serena 
down, "Don't take that thought any further.  You are enough trouble 
over this."

Captain Cindy holds up a soaked piece of notebook paper that has Evil!
Hermione on it.

"This washed up on shore after Hurricane Jo," Cindy says, "Do you 
know how bad this is?  You are lucky you aren't burried under a pile 
of yellow flags!"

"Well," Serena replies, sheepishly, "It was pre-OotP."

"That doesn't matter," Cindy says, "There isn't any cannon support 
for this."

"I know," Serena says, "That's why I threw it away."

"Well, I guess it can pass for now," Captain Cindy says, "Just make 
sure you have cannon to support your theories before you set them 
adrift."

"Aye, aye Captain," Serena replies, "Cannon support. Hmmm...cannon 
support..."

Serena grabs the paper out of Captain Cindy's hand.

"I gotta go," Serena smiles, "Look we can discuss P.I.N.E latter at 
the Royal George or what not.  I need to go look this up."

And with that, Serena makes a Hermione-esque exit off the new wing of 
the cannon museum.

Who realized here husband still has OotP so she can't look up the 
reference she wanted right now.  And who has always wanted to use the 
term "Hermione-esque".
