I think Snape's reaction is because he KNEW Lucius is a DE and the very
fact that Harry mentioned him proved that Harry was indeed telling the
truth and not just making it up like Snape might have otherwise wanted
to believe. He might have suddenly realized that Harry might have been
telling the truth all along about other things as well, which might have
caused him to see the boy in a different light after that.
