But Dobby obviously came from the Malfoy's during COS, so the above 
is challenged. Unless of course, Dobby aparated to Hogsmeade, then 
slipped through the defences (TBD in later books I'm sure) and then, 
finally, apparated into the Gryffindor common room. All that is a 
little much if you ask me.
