Help me understand the importance of the prophecy, please

Er, yes, you're right, of course.  I haven't actually gotten around 
to memorizing the prophecy yet, like so many of ya'll *yelps in pain  
as she irons fingers*, but I still take issue with your assertation 
that Voldemort need not fear Dumbledore.  One can be wounded or 
horribly disfigured without being vanquished.
