Ah, but Kneasy, it's *supposed* to be locked -- go back and take a 
look at how carefully Healer Strout keeps tabs on old Gilderoy.  He 
wanders off constantly, and the door to Ward 49 isn't locked at all.  

Not that I think he's faking it.  Although I suppose he could be.  
For the right reasons?...
