Hi, Kneasy! I actually agree with you - I think that final conflict
between Harry and Voldie will be a mental one, not a physical one. It
is fun trying to guess the ending and seeing myself being proved
wrong, most likely. :o)
Unfortunately, it seems like JKR does plan on reawakening Tom's
Riddle part of Voldie. Maybe it will be just for a very short time in
order for Tom to realise what montrocities he committed and to die
willingly in order for his Voldie part to be gone permanently. That
would be my preference, anyway.
Maybe Voldie (as it was discussed here earlier) gets to become a
child again, just as that deatheater at the MoM. If Voldie were to
live at the end though, Rowling better hurry up and make him more
sympathetic or at least tragic character, because so far I cannot
bring myself to feel any compassion for him. I just want him to die a
slow and painful death ASAP. :)
Again, judging by the fact that Rowling promised more about
circumstances of the Riddle's birth and the fact thta Dumbledore
keeps calling Voldie "Tom", I would say that his Tom's part will come
into play later.
So far, I am not even curious to know his back story (that
considering that I desperately want to learn more about all other
main adult characters :o))I just don't think that JKR wrote him very
well so far.
Well, as long as Harry and my other favourites survive the ending, I
am a happy camper. :)

Now, THAT I am looking forward to. :)
