I have thought the same thing...and IMO, Hagrid was able to do a bit 
of impressive wand work after 1) having a broken wand (perhaps mended 
with spellotape?) and 2 having a 3rd year education...I mean he 
successfully made a pig's tail sprout from Dudley's fat bottom didn't 
he?...Ron's broken wand never worked that well...do you think DD 
helped him get a new wand back then even, so he'd have it in an 
emergency...like looking after Harry? Just speculation)or...at the 
very least, I sincerely hope he is able to go buy a new wand now and 
maybe attend night classes with DD, McGonagall, or even Harry...what 
do you think? :)

Amy - who thought she was pitiful for wanting to turn around and read 
the whole series again after the 3rd cycle, but now seems to think 
you guys have read them even more.....whew.....
